Visiting Angels - Carlisle, PA

I am very disappointed in this company. It seems there is no communication between management. I was told I would be able to meet the caregiver before she sat with my 89 yr old mother with dementia. I also told them my mother would be more comfortable with an older lady. Of course, VA told me no problem. Wrong! They tried to send someone out without us meeting her in advance and she was only 20 years old. When I am paying someone $18.50 an hour, 4 hr minimum, I want what I want and what I ask for. Disappointed in this unprofessional company. I would not recommend them.

Well from my experience the agency in Carlisle always did their best to reach out to us during any time of need or crisis. My mother had some issues with a few of the staff, none of which - in my opinion - were ligit, but you know how some people of this generation can be.

The staff they used for my mother was very reliable and very nice. I believe they only use licensed people so they are a notch above the rest, in my opinion.

Sorry for your experience - hopefully you will give them a chance. And hopefully your mother and you will benefit from their care as we did.

Guest

Janice M...I asked for 1 thing from this agency, an older lady because that is what my mother is comfortable with. Why am I being overly demanding and unreasonable to ask for an older lady and to ask to meet her before she comes to sit with my mother? I find it hard to beleive anyone would leave their mother, child, or animal with someone they have never met.

Asking for an older caregiver is reasonable.

Guest

Dear Dianepa3,

I am really so sorry that you had so much trouble. Unfortunately, I have worked for several Home Health Care agencies in PA, and I can tell you that most of the people that work there are young. There was maybe 10% of HHA's who were over 40. Speaking only from my experience and what I saw others go through, we need to be available 24/7, and if you are not, you are treated badly. The workers DO NOT make $18.50, or, as in my case $24.00 an hour which was charged to my patients. I did not even make half of what they charged ($24.00). I enjoyed working as a HHA, but the companies can replace you with another worker in a second, so they really don't care how they treat you.

I understand that you wanted an older woman, but some of the 20 year olds that I worked with were caring individuals, going to school for nursing, etc. There are bad apples in every agency. It's a physically and emotionally demanding job, trust me.

Again, I'm not saying you are wrong, or you are right, but just give a person a chance before you say no to them. It is a very competitive business between the agencies, and not enough good workers to fill the jobs.

Wishing you all the best with your mother.

Guest

I hate seeing things like this about good people and good businesses. The posted comments about Visiting Angels in Carlisle are so not true!

This is a wonderful agency with wonderful staff and owners! VA in Carlisle took care of my mother for almost 3 1/2 years prior to her passing and I can tell you that they are nothing but wonderful. Any change in schedule, any change in staffing was always handled professionally. They are great.

The person posting negative comments must be so overly demanding and unreasonable. VA is great!!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-503499

No, she is not demanding at all!! I am a paid caregiver and I totally understand what this Janice is saying.

I always meet the person and/or their family before I show up at their house, especially if I'm to be there early in the a.m. I like all my ducks in a row and to scope out the situation. Then, when I show up, we already know each other. I am an older caregiver and this agency you are speaking of is no better or worse than any other.

Their all the same from the employees point of view. Nice when they want you but no appreciation, no little things thats would be so easy for them to do.

I would disagree with you that all agencies are the same, as I have worked for a few, and one in particular in the City of San Francisco (Home Care Advocates) is by far the best one I have done business with. They are really professional and caring to both client and employee, and have a listening ear when or if an issue comes up.

I think all businesses should be run like this particular agency does, but it starts with the right spirit, that of service, compassion and empathy, starting from the top down.

Guest

You are fortunate enough to have had a different experience, but doesn't mean others haven't experience them. I have been fortunate to have worked for better, rather than work agencies, but to say I haven't seen the worst of abuses, both to the employees and the clients.

An franchise agency in South San Francisco Ca. is a perfect case example. When a client call to get assistance or questions answered, it takes days, if not weeks to get a reply.

And for the their employee, they they could care less, and they show it by paying them the lowest rates in the area, but also expect their live ins to pay for their food in many cases, and that is plain wrong.

Visiting Angels failed in providing home health aide for senior

Hired and quickly fired this company in Maryland. They couldn't send qualified home health aide and starting questioning me as to why I thought I needed a CNA. This is what I hired them for - to provide qualified CNA to provide home health aide services for senior living at home. They continued to fail to come through and then started to second guess me on my needs. I started to feel like I was talking to the wall when communication the type of person I needed to provide supervision and senior care for a parent. I was ignored. I was a number. No concern for quality health care in the home. Awful. Unresponsive. Unprofessional.

A CNA does not provide any medical services - that would be a Nurse. I have used numerous home health care service companies and they always provide a CNA if I ask for one.

But they do not provide any medical services - but they can pass a test and are "certified" through the county/state. They have a license. I'd rather have someone who can go through the certification process.

I have many questionable individuals show up at my door - like the company hired someone standing at front of medical building looking for work. Not what I'm interested in....

Guest

If the company SAID they could provide a CNA, then they should have done so.

It matters not what they state on their Web site. The franchisee (or the manager) agreed to something.

Even if the work did not require a CNA, the company agreed to provide a CNA. They should have done what they said they would do.

Guest

Visting Angels website states that they do not provide any type of health/medical care. Why were you requesting services they do not offer?

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-631913

They offer the services I was requesting. They provide CNA's - they just didn't have anyone available so instead of admitting that to me, they started questioning why I needed a CNA.

No other home health company has ever done this. Just don't think Visiting Angels is a good resource for providing home care - they don't have access to the qualified people.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-631925

They aren't a home health company. They are a non-medical homecare company where the underlying words are NON-MEDICAL.

While some of their caregivers are most likely CNA and/or HHA's, the majority are not. They questioned you because those certifications are not required to perform the job in a superior fashion.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-644220

I asked them on the interview, BEFORE I HIRED THEM, if they could provide CNA's. They told me they could!

Then they couldn't provide a CNA. Probably because any CNA WORTH ANYTHING WOULD GO ELSEWHERE. I'm so disgusted to continue to hear the excuses this company makes.

These are our loved ones we're talking about here !!! And they deserve the best that we can give them !

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-631925

CNA's who do work of this kind are usually 20-somethings with little or no experience doing caregiving. There are some exceptions to this rule, of course, but typically unlicensed caregivers are older and have more experience in this type of work.

In other words, while you're asking for the 3 letters behind the caregiver's name, thinking you're an educated consumer, you're actually better off worrying about other things like, TB testing, Drug testing, background screening, and reference checking. Another way of determining the quality of an agency is to ask if they have a dedicated case manager and to check if they answer their phone after regular business hours.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-769871

It just does not matter at this point. I use another company who provide CNA AND A senior care specialist.

Visiting Angels couldn't provide what they agreed to provide on the interview.

Do Not Negate my bad experience with this company or make excuses for them.

Visiting Sleepers...

Its 10:19am here in Ohio (NE) on Sunday, June 10th. I just arrived at my gradparents house at a time I don't normally visit. Grandmother has been in home hospice care since mid March. During her long hospital time, we exhausted ourselves supporting her. So when she came home we developed a schedule to take shifts. Her brother lives out of town but wanted to help how be could so he's paying to have VA come on the weekend(s). When I arrived around 9:55 the employee was sleeping and sleeping pretty heavily at that. Through my coughs and sneezes and a fairly loud tv right next to her. She didn't wake up until about 10:15. Lord only knows when she got here and how long after she fell asleep. This is my first encounter with VA and she apparently is the same girl that comes weekly. I have sleep problems myself so I understand when it's quiet it can be the perfect situation to fall asleep but it's completely unacceptable. I'd upload the picture of this snoozer but this site doesn't give an option for me to do that.

The poor girl was probably worked to death. If they worked her like they worked me she was probably going on 60 hours that week with no break even when she told the boss she couldn't take anymore extra shifts and was talked and threatened into it. And then eventually fired for ridiculous reasons like getting extremely sick or falling asleep on the job after no sleep for three or four days

mmOhio, thank you for recognizing this was NOT Visiting Angels but another company. As the owner of Visiting Angels in Doylestown, PA; I was wondering if you could completely remove this post.

I have had two new client's mention it to me. Not sure how many didn't. I know it's been awhile since your posting. I would really appreciate you removing this.

Thank you and if there is anything we could ever do for you or a family member - we are here for you! Sincerely, Steve Mekanik (owner).

I'm embarrased and please to add that this incident didnt happen under the care of Visiting Angels. I was completely worng.

It was another company here locally in NE Ohio that he switched to. So VA is in the clear for now!

These are all comments that help other consumers make informed decisions! The company is definitely informed about these issues - they're probably fired!

So stop intimidating consumers to NOT post their experiences with the care of their loved ones! :(

Horrible Customer Service

Visiting Angels did a great job in the caregiver area, however, their business office is horrible. They do not return phone calls, they do not actually check on your questions that are being asked...but say they are! I simply asked for confirmation on receipt of payment and was told everything was fine. They will however send you a certified letter from their attorneys telling you that a law suit is about to be filed if you don't make payment on the bills you were told were paid to begin with!!And then of course you are told via correspondence with attorneys that there is no record of your prior conversation. If I had to do this all over again, I most definitely would not use Visiting Angels again nor reccommend them to anyone. If you use them...document everything!

Visiting Angels wasn't open in San Angelo in 2012 it opened August 2013 so you must have it confused with a different agency with a similar name.

Visiting Angels in Midwest City, OK are horrible

Hired Visiting Angels to help out with my mom with late stage alzheimers and help my dad around the house. They sent in the good helper the first four days. She cleaned my mom, cleaned up the house and even cooked a burger for my dad. Then, it started. Untrained personnel that had no clue what to do and were abusive to my mom and mean to my dad. She got fired. The rest of the personnel are the same. They are untrained and uncaring-totally the opposite of what Visiting Angels is supposed to stand for. What a waste of money. They also lie to the nurses that come in to make themselves look good, trying to make my Dad seem like a liar. HORRIBLE experience with the owner (who is new) and the, I guess, unbackground checked personnel that they send to your home to disrupt it even more. Please don't waste your money.

I happen to know that this lawyer daughter who wrote the complaint is the source of the abuse. There were pleas from the Home Health Agency and Visiting Angels to spend more time with these people.

Ultimately, the Adult Protective Services were called by the AGENCIES because the lawyer daughter would not allow the care required. This is what really happened.

VISITING ANGELS IN MIDWEST CITY, OK ARE HORRIBLE. They say they will send only one or two caregivers into your home so that there isn't a new person all the time.

That is the biggest lie ever. I had a new person all the time.

Guest

Call corporate and also call the Better Business Bureau!!! Do not let them get paid for hiring people that live on the street.

My family has a major lawsuit with visiting angels and we are very confident!!!

I am so disgusted that they do not do any kind of background check on these freaks and also, the franchise owners are not

Incensed and bonded!!!!! be strong and forge on because these are your loved ones being abused.

I am so, so sorry! Please don't take this lying down. Call the corporate office (610) 924-**** and ask for Dan Drennen

Nasty Trash Visiting Angels of SANFORD FL

The staff: Kimberly and racist Kaye at Visiting Angels are unprofessional and rude. And don't forget Helen Queen sly fox. They do as they want and expect for their workers to except it. They will call you and take away your hours if you can't do a certain day. The checks somehow randomly becomes short. Pay is minimal 8.50 for one patient, 10.50 for two. They lack coordination and organization. Beware Kimberly and Kaye run their mouths about their own employees. Several times I have come in to pick up my check for the 5days of work and hear them get off the line with a worker and say something crude about how they have enough hours and need more and that they are "being greedy"...Like HELLO, your classless business could use all the HELP it can get because EVERYONE eventually leaves, and the ONES that stay, how should I put this, ARE VICTIM TO THE ECONOMY...

In essence the round around's , lack of respect through sarcasm, the I run the business not Shelley attitude IS NOT and I REPEAT NOT WORTH IT!!!!! Beware you were warned.

Closing thoughts: Shelley put a leash and muzzle on on these two employees of yours...We are tired of their barking...

I worked for this particular agency. I found Helen rude and vindictive and Kim just trying to fit in but I found Kaye and Kristi very pleasant and seemed to always try to share the pieces of the pie equally for everyone who was qualified for the assignments. Im guessing you may have been rude to them and if that were the case Im sure they assigned the more pleasant qualified caregivers to the assignments as if your rude to the staff you cant be trusted not to be rude to the clients (just my guess but Ide bet my income on it)

Guest

If Anonymous is unhappy with their work environment, they should go to work somewhere else. That's called "employment at will".

I am sure this is not indicitive of all francises.

Paying for backgorund checks in not uncommon and they are not free. Most job rwequire that now.

Also, if the job calls for driving across town to spend two hours with a client and you refusem you should be fired. This is also called, "employment at will."

Guest

Replying to outsider looking..the commentss of honest exp were honest!! I had the same misfortune, rude racist and basically slave labor tactics.

Perhaps some owner franchises are better but they are running a "Hostile" work environment after interviews with the owner if he likes you they ask you to pay 35.00 for a free background check without fingerprints and have you come back later in the day on your own time for 2-3 hours.

If you have experience you are in for discrimination and called over qualified..expected to work for 2 hrs per day a 9.50 per hr way across town without milage if you refuse you get fired!

Guest

Sounds like YOU are the problem. If you are unhappy working there, then leave.

If you think you CAN'T because you're a "victim of the economy", then you are half right... You are a victim... Of your own laziness, whining, "I deserve more & I got robbed but in reality I believe the world owes me a living but I'm a worthless punk" attitude...

Go get a new job & get a life. I would bet you haven't had the kahunas to go talk to these people straight up about your concerns...

Wow Outsider...you sound like a franchisee to me. I actually am overqualified for these "so-called non-medical cases".

Mainly because i am a state certified home health aide and was a CNA for years. I am certified through inservices and updates to medical procedural changes, such as how to "properly" administer CPR and First Aide, which have changed over the past 25 years. I am a caregiver...not just a companion or glorified "babysitter".

We DO CARE, and that is why many of work for these companies. We may not recognize the "Monster" we work for until we have established a relationship with our clients, and a reason we believe in staying is to ensure that our clients get the best care (at least when we are there).

Visiting Angels

This scamming corporation charges all potential applicants 35.00 for a 5.00 or free background check, expects employees to work a 2 hour shift for 9.50 per hr without milage cannot give even 20 hrs per week.

People were sent to care for seniors without completed background check, no fingerprints, TB or drug testing.

Seniors are given speel everyone is thoroughly screened..RIGHT! Do you want illegals with TB, possible criminals in your home?

The office is is independenly owned and operations are without oversight. Just buy a franchise and train a warm body in 12 hours and bill the clients 25-35.00 per hr! AWFUL!!!

There are a few problems with your comment.

1: You say they charge for a background check but then you complain they don't background check.

2: Background checks cost more than $5.

3: Why would they pay mileage for your commute? You realize almost every American worker pays for their own commute, right?

4: If they can't give you 20 hours per week, it's probably because you're new and they're hiring you for a new job that is less than 20 hours per week. They can't wave a magic wand and create a 40 hour per week job for you. If that's what you want, go work for a SNF where you have to take care of 10 beds for minimum wage. You'll get 40 hours and healthcare, but you'll also be working 10 times harder.

Having said that, you do have one valid point. Every employee should have to be TB and drug tested and you're right. Some agencies don't do this.

Warning*** Visiting Angels will kill your loved one!

I want to warn ALL who view the information regarding Visiting Angels. Each and every "companion" is not finger-printed, NO background checks conducted, no DMV checks, and most do not speak English. They are so dumb and ill equipped, they do not know how to answer a phone or dial 911. I beg everyone who reads this to please pass this information on if you are considering care for your loved one. My family has reported them and now social services is involved. I have an attorney and will take ALL actions to put them out of business. Please, Please, Please be very careful and protect your loved one. Do not use this agency!!!

You are misinformed! Per our franchise agreements we run two (2) background checks. The first is with the health care registry and the 2nd is a third party nationwide background screening.

Guest

I'm a nurse who has worked over 23 years in Home Care. I am considering investing in a franchise of Visiting Angels.

I read this post and am surprised that there was no background check. I will do more research on this company.

Many of the complaints I see here are complaints I've seen with other agencies too. There will always be an aide that gets there late, or that doesn't show up due to illness and such.

They're supposed to call the agencies so they could get a replacement. That's not always possible with late notice. It's not perfect by any means but it helps people stay at home.

When someone can't be left alone, a live-in aide is a better option.

Good luck to you.

I owe a VA franchise and each are independently owed and operated. We have guidelines set by corporate.

I have never had a complaint that I have not responded to immediately. The values, trust and ethics are from the top down.

I love what I do and would recommended VA to anyone who is interested in serving our community.

Guest

I have also been told they pay corporate employees to respond to All NEGATIVE CHATTER......Visiting Angels must be working overtime. I know Monique, Jennifer and Barry have to at their VA franchise in Cathedral City!!!!

Many websites can provide you with their criminal activity.....It is all there n black and white!!!!!M

You must be an employee with Visiting Angels! What a joke......

I feel so sorry for you.

I hope you are getting paid at least 5 an hour!!!!!!!! Can you walk a dog because that is really all that eir employees can do......So, I would quit before you are in to deep!!!!!

I am quite irritated that you catagorize all of the Visiting Angels employees as dumb, illegal alien criminals. I, for one am licensed as a CNA with no violations, have an existing AAS degree and am currently 6 classes away from getting my BSN.

I am not ***. I can speak English. I actually have patients families that request me.

And just today, I caught a Rx error from the patient's hospital nurse. So please think twice before bad-mouthing us all!

Visiting Angels - DEMONS IN CATHEDRAL CITY

BEWARE OF THIS FRANCHHISE!!! My dear Father who is in the late stages of Alzheimer's is being "cared for" by sub-par companion. We have had the most unfortunate experience with caregiver "Ernie" who has no regard for my Dad at all. Basically leaves him unattended (a man who can't walk without assistance), feeds the family dogs instead of my Dad - DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE or understand the basics for caring for a man of his condition - i.e.: can't take blood pressure, read medications, or disperse critical pain medications. He leaves my Dad in filthy conditions upon becoming incontinent. He did not call 911 when my Dad fell and cut himself - as a result he had a raging infection in his leg from an untreated gash. WHAT AN OUTRAGE! Now we are being harassed by "Barry" who called and put his best THUG attitude on us!

i agree with these comments, i worked for them for a brief period although i was qualified, not an alien or criminal, it was a job i really wanted, after the hiring i noticed how unprofessional this company was. leaving everything up to the caregiver and never available when i needed them, i was cussed out for "bothering" the superviser when she was too drunk to know who i was, they are so disrespectful and cruel...they will do or say anything to get your money but in the end you will be ripped off and feeling like you didnt get what you should from them.

people like this shouldnt be allowed the privledge to care for the elderly. the owners and the office staff were evil evil people. they will fight with you to defend there already horrible reputation.

i hope this bussiness is shut down!!! i had to take them off of my resume because no one would even consider hiring me once they saw i was affilated with them in the past...worst place ever :(

I am so saddened to learn of all the complaints around the country regarding this franchise. You can try calling corporate in Penn.

but they say there is little they can do!! Keep a paper trail and get them out of your loved wons homes stat!!!!! They are not licensed and bonded and are 1099 employees. If they slip and fall on your property or hurt themselves lifting your loved one they can and will come after you.

Also, illegal billing practices.

BEWARE and BE ALERT to these unethical people.

It seems that you might not be completely familiar with the meaning of the word franchise. It is not clear if you actually meant franchisee, corporation, or something else entirely.

Guest

Anyone who makes such a blanket statement about the Franchise as a whole doesn’t know what they are talking about. Every business, even church businesses have concerns/problems.

This doesn’t mean that the whole industry/business/agency is bad.

Get a grip! Place blame where blame is due and not on everyone involved with this franchisee.

Guest

oh please!?!?!

Guest

Its a shame these people are allowed to work with the elderly. Where can you find a person you can trust? :(

Guest

I am utterly disgusted to hear about this sort of thing...my heart breaks for anyone that's had to deal with such a horrible franchise. I wish that all of the owners were like the ones we have - we ARE licensed and bonded, and our owners are always in the office. As a matter of fact, they're some of the most common faces to see when you walk in.

A great many of the VA franchises are run by wonderful people and are a great help to many families...but some of them just fall into awful hands and it breaks our hearts to hear it. :(

I'll keep ya'll in my prayers...and that any and all unworthy operations cease.

VISITING ANGELS in Palm Desert are theives and liars!!!! WAKE UP PALM DESERT!!!

This franchise is worse than ***! My poor father is trapped in a contract with leeches and idiots who are unable to care for him in his late stages Alzheimer's. When I have called (numerous times) to have the sub-par 'companion' removed from the home, Monique (branch owner) told me I should be thankful that they were in "looking after my Dad". After 3 trips to URGENT CARE under the 'watchful eye" of these freaks, my Dad is in worse condition than if her were being cared for by monkeys. Don't even get me started on co-owner Barry – who uses thug like tactics to "˜deal with his clients". They employ CRIMINALS WHO CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH!!! This is an OUTRAGE! Yes they have lazy caregivers because they charge customers $200 for 24 hrs care..do the math what do they pay their caregivers then minimum wage. They hire caregivers who don't have common sense and just play on their cell phones and tablets while patient is left in soiled diapers. Don't use Visiting Angels, you get what you pay for....idiots

I can't believe what I am reading. I too had a nightmare experience with an employee that was dressed as a *** and came to my home!!

That was all I needed to see and said no thanks!!! The owner is saying "have the balls"????? He is not even defending his company which is going down????

What a friek. I am going to report the agency as well.

Guest

:grin Too funny. The owner of Visiting Angels in Palm Desert is calling a previous client a retarded ***.

It would appear as though the owner is a retarded *** and can't even defend his rinky *** company that is run out of his garage!

So sad that people are onto you. Say goodbye :p :p :p :p :p :p

BEWARE VISITING ANGELS IN PALM DESERT, CA!!!!!!

BEWARE OF THIS FRANCHISE!!! My dear Father who is in the late stages of Alzheimer's is being "cared for" by sub-par companion.

We have had the most unfortunate experience with caregiver "Ernie" who has no regard for my Dad at all. Basically leaves him unattended (a man who can't walk without assistance), feeds the family dogs instead of my Dad - DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE or understand the basics for caring for a man of his condition - i.e.: can't take blood pressure, read medications, or disperse critical pain meds. He leaves my Dad in filthy conditions upon my becoming incontinent. He did not call 911 when my Dad fell and cut himself - as a result he had a raging infection in his leg from an untreated gash.

WHAT AN OUTRAGE! The worst part is that when the family has called to have this person removed from the home, the Franchise owner MONIQUE basically told us that they signed a contract and we had no say in the matter. Keep your vulnerable loved ones away from this place!!!

Please respond if you have had similar involvement with this organization. 111e593

I had an unfortunate experience with them as well. When I questioned their "mileage" expenses, they decided to give a 7 day notice of termination!

This leaves my dear mother without adequate supervision and care until I can locate another certified agency.

They were also VERY unaccommodating with THEIR schedules. Steer away from this agency if you have a choice.

All these comments are from the same family the three daughter of Mr. Russel who tried to steel there own fathers estate.

Visiting Angels just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. All three are evil people who will do anything for $$. I was Mr.

Russels attorney and those three daughters are the worst people in the world. Not only did they try to steel $$ from there own father but also try to damage the good rep of a good company.

As an employee of a great Visiting Angels in Denver CO I have to comment on this topic. Im sorry for those of you that have had bad experiences but thats definitly not the rule.

Addressing Libra9's comment, VA is a non-medical company so we can never administer meds nor do anything medicaly related which in is the corporate paperwork you would have had to sign and no VA ever has a contract of any sort, we are a franchise so we do things the same required way.

I have worked for other agencys in the past and I can say that VA is an excellent company. Before even thinking of hiring an employee we ask ourselves "would I let this person into my Mothers home?", Im sorry if other VA's arent as picky but please dont paint us all the same as we, across the board, are a top notch compant with careing, experienced caregivers.

It appears the original poster is creating fake names to act as if there are more unsatisfied consumers. I hope they find you and sue the *** out of you. This is just a sad post.

I used Visiting Angels with my father when he was dying from cancer, and their staff was fantastic! I think it's really dangerous to paint with such a broad brush.

If you have a problem with that agency, that's one thing, but to say they shouldn't be allowed to operate anywhere because you have had a bad experience is ignorant and childish. The agency we used was awesome, and the caregivers were fantastic.

Guest

:eek OMG!!! I just saw the posts on Visiting Angels and had to add something.

There are so many posts on this useless company. They bill fradulently in Palm Desert.

I will leave it at that. BUYERS BEWARE*************

Guest

:( Why do I keep reading the same information about these elder abusers!!!! Eisnhower Hospital does not have them on any referal lists so that is a sign!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE call their corporate franchise offices and retain an attorney. You have to protect your love one because they will not protect our loved one!!

Guest

I agree Carol!!! Our family has contacted the head office in PA, and we are taking this all the way. I just need help passing this news on to other vulnerable people in the area to try and protect them from these people!!!

Guest

Visiting Angels should not be allowed to operate in our Desert or any place else. They hire sub-par people who front for them and, in my experience, they cheat and lie.

and do a major DISSERVICE to our community.

They have no ethics and no respect for the people they say they will serve. The Visiting Angels must come from H---!

Visiting Angels will kill your family members!

I am horrified to see these "pigs" in action. The current Visitng demon at my parents home feeds her big fat face before feeding the patient!! She even feeds the dogs before my ailing parent. This agency, owners Barry and Monique are *** of the Earth!!! Please do not call them for services unless you want your family to die a very horrible death. Beware!!!! I have heard first hand from Elder abuse detectives in Riiverside county that they have investigated Visiting Angels many, many times!!! Adult protective services have been called on multiple occasions because of the *** Barry and Monique hire. ***, ***, ***!!!!!!! Call their corporate headquarters and Better Business Bureau to pull the plug on them!!!!

I've lost a few family members to them, but in general they are pretty good. Nobody's perfect.

Barry Hector & Monique DeAnda - VISITING ANGEL FRANCHISE OWNERS FROM ***

Beware of this franchise in Palm Desert. Don't let them into your home - and near your vulnerable loved ones!!!!

Guest

My family refers to Barry and Monique as the Visiting Devils!! They are the most unprofessional people I have ever met!! Just TELL everyone you know about this company so your family member doesn't suffer.
